Sometimes finding a part time job might be easier by signing up with an agency. However, agency workers have their own set of rights, which differ from those of employees. To make matters more complicated, working for an agency does not automatically mean you are entitled to these rights.

Who is an agency worker?
To be classes as an agency worker you must have a contract with an agency but work temporarily for an employer. When you do work for an employer, he/she must control your work, not the agency. You cannot be self-employed. If even one of these elements is missing, you will not be classed as an agency worker.
